B. Louise Mecca, 89, of Prince George passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011 in Southside Regional Medical Center. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Mecca, Sr., daughter, Louise Ann Adkins and son, Dennis Herbert Mecca. Mrs. Mecca was a member of the Charity Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Charles W. Mecca, Jr. and his wife, Kaye C., Jerry A. Mecca and his wife, Brenda, daughter, Virginia Kathryn Holt and her husband, Lee, four grandchildren, George Richard Adkins, Brian Ray Holt and his wife, Melinda, Ann Marie Adkins and Jennifer S. Adkins, three great grandchildren, Ashley Marie Bell, Andrew Brian Holt and Amanda Leigh Holt, two great great grandchildren, Madison Leigh Bell and Landon Hersey Bell. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon Monday, February 28, 2011 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA and where funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon with Rev. C. Wayne Henry officiating. Interment will follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be registered at: www.nelsencares.com
