David Richard Frazier, 65, of Hopewell passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in John Randolph Medical Center. David was an automobile mechanic at West End Service Center for forty four years, a member of the Hopewell Moose and American Legion. He is survived by his wife of forty one years, Pamela N. Frazier, son, David R. Frazier, Jr. and his wife, Robyn, daughter, Tammy Harrison, six grandchildren, Ryan, Justin and Boo Boo Harris, Ashley Frazier, Cherokee Crutchfield and Lacey Martin, great grandson, A.J. Harris, mother, Mary Ella Harrison Frazier, brother, Jerry Frazier, two sisters, Marlene Smith and Sandra Hare, also numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, August 19, 2010 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell and where funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, August 20, 2010 with Rev. Christopher Jenkins and Rev. Gilbert Elder officiating. Interment will follow in Appomattox Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Thomas Johns Cancer Hospital, Hawthorn Center, 1401 Johnston Willis Drive, Richmond, VA. 23235.
