Elizabeth L. Dubovsky, 91, of Prince George passed away Monday, April 26, 2010 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Joseph Dubovsky, Sr. Elizabeth was an honorary member of the Jefferson Park Volunteer Fire Dept., an avid bingo player and loved gardening. She is survived by her children, Sister Margaret Ann Dubovsky, Andrew J. Dubovsky, Jr., Robert S. Dubovsky, Mary D. Nye, Paul D. Dubovsky, Marthe Paige Young and Nancy D. Collins, Grandchildren, Laura Coleman, Teresa and Donnie Dubovsky, George Dubovsky, Kenny and Kerry Stewart, Stephanie Jones, Denise Davis, Charles Dubovsky, Bobby and Jason Nye and Bobbie Jo Vohun. She also has many great grandchildren that loved her, along with a very devoted and loving caretaker, Ronald Schneider. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, April 29, 2010 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Friday, April 30, 2010 at Saint James Catholic Church with Father Frank Wiggins and Father Jay Wagner officiating. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jefferson Park Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O. Box 214, Prince George, VA 23875.
