William D. Clingan, 45, passed away suddenly at his home on January 26, 2012. He was born May 14, 1966, in Port Sulphur, Louisiana, to Calvin (Al) Clingan and Elaine Cooper Clingan. He worked for twenty-three years for ExxonMobil as a Chemical Processor. William enjoyed spending time with his family and being outdoors hunting, fishing and working on his cattle ranch north of Edna, Texas.

Preceded in death by his brother, David Clingan; he is survived by his sons, Sean William Clingan and girlfriend, Mallory White, and Brandon David Clingan, of Baytown; best friend and loving companion of ten years , Stephanie Torres, and her son, Dakota Torres; parents, Elaine Clingan, of Alvin, Al Clingan and wife, Shirley, of Robertsdale, Alabama; brother, Michael Clingan and wife, Cherie, of Alvin; sisters, Jane Newcomb and husband, Donnie, of Alvin, Susan Altic, of Houston, and Shana Michelle Pimperl, of Robertsdale, Alabama; and numerous other loving friends and family members.

His family will receive friends at Crespo & Jirrels, 6123 Garth Road on Sunday, January 29, 2012, beginning at 6 p.m. Service of remembrance will be at 7 p.m., Sunday in the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels, with Rev. Raymond Van Buskirk officiating.
